I highly recommend this place! Best rate in Telluride! The front staff is very nice and helpful. The room was a good size and was clean. It was nice to have a little kitchen to use for breakfast. It's also in the heart of telluride, so didn't have to travel to far to get to Main Street. Lastly, their pet fee is the cheapest in Telluride!!
Staff makes the hotel - and these guys rock. Coming off a trail (Tomboy Road) we realized we'd lost a u-joint and our Jeep was down for the count. Luckily this place had a room, but the staff went above and beyond for us. They would have been well within their rights to tell us to get lost the day after our stay, but they were kind enough to let our Jeep stay in their parking lot while we waited for a part to be delivered. The staff was great from front desk to maintenance guy (who let me use his sink and HD soap to wash my hands after replacing the u-joint). Great simple rooms, clean with a kitchen. Keep up the great work!
This is our second stay here for the Telluride Mushroom Festival. The room (112) is SO comfortable and has everything needed. The staff is great and the Goose gets us everywhere! It would be nice to have a softer mattress but that's my only complaint.
Room was on the small side and somewhat pricey for the accommodations (Telluride is not a "cheap" place to visit). King size bed took half the room. Had large, black spider crawling on the back of my neck in the middle of the night and about took my head off trying to kill it!! Hotel located in a very congested area so there's a lot of outside noise early in the mornings and late at night, but it's still well located and a short walking distance from everything in town, especially the free gondola via the river trail. The rooms are nothing fancy and have that "lived in" personality. This place is obviously not new, but a convenient place to stay, and once you find parking, do as much walking as you can so you can keep that space!
We were told we would have a one bedroom (booked through my husband's work as he is here for a conference). We were given a tiny kitchenette room for 2 adults, one kid, and a dog so it is a little tight. The best thing about this hotel is the location. If you are looking for a place close to town that is not super expensive, this is a good option.
