I stayed at the Bear Creek Lodge recently on my first trip to Telluride. Initial appearance starting in the lobby is very welcoming. Quick check-in. Our three bed condo-style unit was clean, modern, cozy and easily accessible. The lodge has two well-sized hot tubs and a heated pool, all outdoors. There's plenty of storage for skis just outside. It's also only a short walk or drive from one of the many gondolas. I would definitely stay here again.
You can hear EVERYTHING in the room next door! Otherwise fine place if you don't mind that!
Bear Creek Lodge Room 304: We were 3 adults staying in Bear Creek 304 and booked it according to description: King bed and Queen sleeper sofa. The King bed was wonderful, but the sleeper sofa was not a queen size, very small and thin mattress with headrest part collapsing, bedding for sofa poor quality with torn blanket. Very disappointing. The condo (if you are just one couple) wonderful, kitchen with all necessities, beautifully furnished with great view. Great storage and amenities. Bear Creek staff wonderful and friendly and helpful, convenient with shuttle for transportation or ski in/ski to using the Funicular. Great Hot tub.
Room is lovely and service has been great. Only complaint is the bath seems to be an afterthought. Very small with no counter space.
Clean rooms with extra supplies (towels, tissue), free shuttle service or short trail walk to gondola. Great fitness center and informative friendly desk staff.
