The only reason why it even deserves of one star, is because it is beautiful; however, it is extremely expensive for the quality of the rooms and the fact that the walls are like paper. I can hear entire conversations doors are slamming and you can't go to sleep or stay asleep. Their parking situation is a nightmare and requires you to pay $20 a day to park, and you have to do valet so if you want to get anything out of your car you forgot you have to valet it to get it back unoad it and then have him Valley it again
Beautiful hotel with great views. Very helpful and friendly staff. The location is great, only 5 minute walk to the Gondola, therefore we did not need to worry about parking or driving to the town. We stayed at one of the bedroom condos which was very clean, elegant and spacious. If you visit Telluride, I highly recommend you to stay here.
We were excited to book in advance to go this summer. We were aware they were going to charge us on our credit card for 1 of the 2 nights. However they charged us not only for 1 night $323, but also charged for the 2 nights for $646, almost $1000! They said they charged the $646 and immediately refunded it, as a standard practice, but why? 3 days later the charges are still on my card. Not cool!! Asked for a refund for all and will stay elsewhere......
When we arrived in Telluride we had a reservation for another hotel that got messed up. We were super frustrated and it was brews and blues festival weekend so we didn't think we'd be able to find anywhere to stay. We stopped at mountain lodge hoping they had a room available and Raul was not only able to get us a room for one night but forb two and for a better rate than the other hotel! He was very accommodating and wanted to make sure we were very satisfied with our stay. Our stay at mountain lodge was incredible and would highly recommend anyone to stay here! Thank you Raul!
This was my third stay here and is now my home away from home. Once again Robert at the front desk went above and beyond to make my fiancé and I feel at home. After a long day Robert made me laugh, got me checked in and gave us a list of cool things to do in town. Quality place to stay, easy parking, very nice staff, steps from the Gondola and gorgeous views. Joe was also very helpful, they gave us an incredible room with amazing sights right out of our bedroom window. We had a great nights sleep and a relaxing start to our day. Ask for Robert, Joe or Keelan for exceptional service.
