My sister and I had a really great time shopping at Kellie's during a weekend visit to Telluride. I purchased several items, one of them being an inexpensive ($60) handbag. I returned to Denver on Sunday, upon using the bag for the first time Monday, the zipper jammed and broke. I immediately called the store Monday about exchanging the bag, esp. considering 7 day policy/no refunds/exchage only. I did not receive a return phone call until the following Tuesday. I was told there would be no exchange as I most likely overstuffed the bag thereby breaking the zipper. I will never shop at this store again and I feel the owner is totally rude in here assumption that I broke the zipper and would not even consider an exchange.
Poor quality merchandise and HORRIBLE customer service. Maybe she can get away with this with tourists, but I live locally.
I purchased a knit top with decorative stitching that fell apart after dry cleaning one time. Used a dry cleaner that i have used for 20 years and never had a problem. When I brought it back to the store, I was treated very rudely and told " obviously it's the dry cleaners fault". Refused to discuss any return or compensation or even a "I'm sorry, I'll contact the manufacturer" or "Let me see what I can do".
